STUDIO OR SUNSET?

Indoor Studio Session

Studio sessions are held in the studio from 10am - 4:30pm.

NOTE: Newborn Sessions can go for up to 4 hours so we start newborn sessions at 10:30 to allow plenty of time.

Outdoor Sunset Session

Outdoor sessions are held between4:30pm - 6:30pm depending on location & 5:30 - 7:30pm during daylight savings:

OVERCAST: We ask all clients to be ready at home 1 hour earlier then normal.
This is done so should we happen to have a cloudy afternoon this will allow us to start early & still have plenty of beautiful light.

e.g if your session is booked for 5pm you would be ready to leave home for a 4pm session.

Posed Newborn sessions are in Studio Sessions

Posed Newborn sessions need to be a steady temperature so we do these sessions in our studio space.

Babies require a very warm room without any wind so they sleep easily for the photos.

We usually have a bit of noise because as many of you know babies find it hard to sleep in quiet places , after all they have just spend 9 months in a loud cosy womb.

We advise bringing a dummy even if you plan on throwing it out after the session.

PEELING SKIN: avoid moisturizing your baby right before a shoot as this will be startling when we do the shoot but if you would like to moisturise your baby in the hours before the shoot that is totally fine & wont effect their session.

DO I NEED TO BRING AN OUTFIT FOR BUB?

We use wraps, outfits, hats or head bands on new-borns so you don't need to bring an outfit for bub however, if you have an outfit that is sentimental or a special item we are happy for you to bring it along.

CAN YOU TRAVEL TO ME FOR A STUDIO SESSION IN MY HOME?

We can travel to you to do a posed Newborn session for a fee of $200 . We can then pack studio gear & bring it to your home, set up & do your Newborn session. We cant bring all props (otherwise we would need a road train haha) . We still bring plenty of different options & you can chose which props you love best for us to bring on the day

Small Babies & outdoor sessions

Small babies can be photographed outdoors if the wheather is ok. These sessions are lifestyle sessions & aren't posed like the studio session.

We can still use a wrap, bonnet or headband from the studio. You can request one before the session & we will bring it with us to your newbons family lifestyle session.

HOME SESSIONS.

We can do home lifestyle newborn sessions. These session will literally be in your home so whatever is there will be in the photos to capture the moment.
